Ability to suppress specific maintenance tasks from pushing to StatusIQ

We'd like a way to prevent a specific daily recurring maintenance task from pushing to our StatusIQ page, while still allowing other maintenance tasks to be pushed and displayed? We have a nightly maintenance task that we'd like to prevent being displayed for end users, while still allowing other events to be displayed.

Agreed.

I have created a nightly scheduled maintenance window for one of our systems to prevent outage notifications during our backup procedure. Unfortunately, it makes our StatusIQ page look cluttered with perpetual log entries showing maintenance happened. End users shouldn't see this particular notification, especially in the history section.

Dear Charlie and Steve,

We have noted this down as a Feature Request (My apologies for not acknowledging the request earlier, Charlie). I can understand the cluttered entries. Since this can happen only from Site24x7, how about having the option to "propagate to StatusIQ" in the schedule maintenance form itself? Would that make sense?

PM Site24x7.

Propagate to StatusIQ sounds good. If you need another idea, maybe public versus internally visible only. Yours is probably more descriptive.
