Right now there doesn't seem to be a very good way to alert on I/O utilization on Windows servers. It seems like the only collected metrics related to I/O for my windows server is Disk Idle/Busy Percentage. Unfortunately this metric does not support creating thresholds that can alert by looking at the value over multiple polling periods. I can only create alerts that look at the Disk Busy Percentage for the last poll which is not really useful as it is much too noisy. Can this be added?

Thanks for your request. We will add the Poll Count for Disk Idle and Busy metric's threshold configuration. Will update this post, once the feature goes live.
Is there any other metric which you would like to add Poll Count to alert the same ?
