would be helpful if site24x7 OS agent for linux can also alert defunct processes (with threshold) and can show the metric in a widget with their process names.

You can use the Zombie plugin integration to monitor the defunct processes and be notified on any threshold breach.

But would be cool if defunct/zombie processes are monitored by the agent per default as well. Could you bring this on the roadmap please for the linux agent?
If you have hundreds of linux servers you will not install every time a plugin ;)
