[New features] Catch up on all the cool features we've released in Q1,2018 - APM Insight

Greetings,

We hope your monitoring experience with Site24x7 APM Insight has been smooth so far.

If you haven't kept up with our recent releases, we've rolled out a bunch of new features since the beginning of the year. Check them out below and let us know what you think.

  • You can now install APM Insight .NET agents across multiple servers, side-by-side, in the same Active Directory network using bulk installation. Track exceptions logged via ELMAH and NSpring.
  • Monitor user-defined methods in your Ruby apps using the Ruby Agent API. This agent automatically associates exceptions with their respective transactions; view comprehensive transaction data under a single console.
  • Track and monitor blocks of code in your Java apps using the Java Agent API. Un-instrumented blocks are highlighted between method calls in traces; this helps you clearly visualize the time split-up of method calls. You can also exclude specific packages from monitoring.
  • The PHP agent now supports transaction-based monitoring rather than file-based monitoring.

If you have integrated real user monitoring (RUM) with APM Insight, don't forget to check out impressive enhancements like RUM Playback and enhanced RUM Snapshots.

And if you haven't already noticed, we now support host-based licensing for APM Insight. For further information or if you have any questions, drop us a word at support@site24x7.com and we'll get back to you with an answer as quickly as possible.

If you've already had a chance to try out some of these new features, we'd love to hear your honest feedback.

Happy monitoring!
