Please add the ability to set up persistent notifications for phone and SMS notifications. This will ensure that an issue is resolved in case support staff doesn't respond to the first notification. This would be very helpful during night hours when it would be possible to sleep through the first notification.

I agree this is a great idea, but i would add that the tool needs to provide true persistent notifications in all alerting mechanisms in the tool.
Currently the option for persistent notifications is limited to a certain number of notifications, which isn't persistent, it is limited!
Please fix ASAP!
