Real Browser Monitoring - Step response time threshold - Trouble condition

I have tuned a web script, with some support assistance, and it is progressing through steps with tight step duration reporting.

But now I want to tune step expectations to report trouble when timing conditions are not met. When you expand the Step area we would assume the Step response time threshold for primary location is the section of interest. My step#1 timing is usually 2+ sec, so I want to force a Trouble condition by requiring the step to complete in 1sec. But my Saved monitor is running without any indication of Trouble despite this tuning. I will create another support ticket if there is no insight from the Community.

Hi,

Thank you for raising your concern. We have checked the same scenario from our side and it works fine.

We need to anaylze if any other threshold settings are affecting the configuration that you have set. For this, I would like you to contact our support , support@site24x7.com with the monitor details so that they can look into the case and find the root cause.

However, in normal case, if poll strategy is opted as "Poll Count", We'll check last n polls of step time. If the number of polls that breach the threshold is greater than the configured poll count, then the monitor will marked as trouble/critical. The last n polls of step time needs to come under threshold to mark the monitor as Up. Until then monitor will be in trouble/critical state.

Regards,

Jenzo
