REST API check - generate unique x-request-id header

Hi, could you please add an ability to add a random value for a header in HTTP Configuration?
e.g.
X-Request-Id: RANDOM_VALUE_PLACEHOLDER

having such a header attached to an outage report would be extremely helpful when looking for logs

Hi Daniel,

My apologies for the late reply. You can use Global Parameters to create a randomvalue and use that in the http configuration.

Navigate to Admin > Configuration Profiles > Global Parameters > Add Parameters. Create a paremeter with type dynamic and choose how you want that parameter to be.

In the http configuration section of your rest api edit form, enter the key, the value for which can be the parameter you added in the above step. Entering $ will list all the parameters.

Once this is done save it. From your next data collection, this parameter will be part of the request.
