sFlow Integration?

Does Site24x7 support sFlow? I saw one post in the community 2 years ago saying they are adding it to the roadmap, but no further information.

Hi Brandon,

We have started to work on this feature based on the requests but we cannot commit an exact timeline for the release.

It would be great if you could list out the metrics and reports that you expect to have in NetFlow Analyzer as it will help us in development.

Thanks,

Santhi

Santhi, Can you post here what all reports you do have or can do? We could vote on those.

Hi,

We are charting out the feasible reports and our list should be ready soon. We'll get back to your shortly.

Hi Brandan,

We have started to work on sFlow integration and the following are the reports that we've planned to have:

  • Traffic data based on speed, percentage, packets, and volume
  • Application data based on application and protocol
  • Conversation data based on IP address and network

Do let us know if you want any other report?

Thanks,

Santhi

I think that is a good start. % and Volume based on IP address conversation is what I am mainly after.

Hi Brandon,

Yes, we will be supporting IP address conversation based on volume, speed, and utlization(percentage).

Thanks,

Santhi

Hi all,

We've already released the General Availability (GA) version of the NetFlow monitoring feature. Please refer to the announcement post.

You can access NetFlow from the Network > NetFlow tab.

Please refer to our help docs for further information on getting started and adding your devices to monitor NetFlow, sFlow, J-Flow, and others.

Feel free to get back to us for further clarifications.

Regards,
Santhi
