NCM reports

Gain in-depth insights into your Network Configuration Manager (NCM) devices through reports that can be viewed on a hourly, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. These comprehensive reports help you identify device configuration updates over a specified time period. You can export these reports in CSV, PDF, and email formats for your internal purposes.

Configuration Changes Report

Configuration Changes Report enables you to view the changes between each version of the startup and running configuration files within a selected time period. For example, if you select the time period as Last 24 Hours, and there are three configuration version updates within that time period, a comparison between each version is done, and the report is generated. 

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Navigate to Reports > NCM Device.
  3. Click Configuration Changes Report.
  4. Select the Monitor for which you wish to generate the report and the Time Period.
  5. In the Configuration Type(s) field, select Startup, Running, or Both to generate the report.

Configuration Diff Report

Configuration Diff Report enables you to view the differences in the startup and running configuration files within a selected time period. For example, if you select the time period as Last 24 Hours, a comparison is made between the last version before the selected period and the last version in the selected period and the report is generated. 

  1. Navigate to Reports > NCM Device.
  2. Click Configuration Diff Report.
  3. Select one monitor or All NCM Monitors in the Monitor(s) field for which you wish to generate the report. Then, select the required Time Period.
  4. In the Configuration Type(s) field, select Startup, Running or Both to generate the report.
