Busy Hours Report
Busy Hours Report provides deep visibility into critical performance parameters of various monitors. Parameters like average response time (ms), buffer cache hit ratio percentage of SQL servers, Network traffic load (in Kbps) on your IIS servers or CPU usage of Servers are captured. You can zoom out and look at the metrics for periods as long a year back. It also offers an hour or week wise break-up. Busy Hours Report helps you track down the exact time of the day/week when the response of the resource is the slowest. Using this data, you can plan the capacity augmentation of your servers, during the slowest response time of your monitored resource.
Generate Busy Hours Report
- Login to Site24x7.
- Navigate to Reports > Monitor Type > Busy Hours Report.
Note
You can either generate a Busy Hours Report for a selected monitor or a consolidated report for all the monitors.
- Choose your desired monitor from the dropdown monitor list.
- Choose the required Time Period from the drop down list.
Note
You can generate reports for time periods ranging from last 24 hours–last 30 days; or even for the present year. Furthermore, you can also obtain reports for custom time periods.
- Select the desired breakup (daily or weekly) from the drop down "Segment By" to generate the report.
- Once the report is generated, click "Share This" button on the top right corner to,
- Publish Report: Click publish report and populate the form. This creates a permalink that would make the report accessible to customers without a login.
- Email: Share the report via an email. Email can be sent to only those verified users who have agreed to receive emails from Site24x7.
- Export CSV: Export the report as a CSV file.
- Export PDF: Export the report as a PDF file.
- Schedule Report: Populate the schedule report form, to create a report task that would trigger Busy Hours report mails to the customer.
- Busy Hours Report of your configured SQL Server helps you track down the percentage of pages in the buffer pool that didn't have to incur a read from disk. Using this data, you can enhance the overall database design and the efficiency of queries being handled.
- Busy hours report provides input to manage the network traffic on your server resources and thus help you optimize the performance of your IIS Servers.
- Busy Hours Report for your configured Server, VMware, RDS, and EC2 instances provides you ample amount of data to track CPU performance regressions or improvements when running a specific set of task over a chosen period of time.
Daily Break up
Get a segmented hourly break up view of the response time for all your monitored resources.
Weekly Break up
Get a segmented day wise break up view of the response time for all your monitored resources.
